Livingston Parish Assessor Jeff Taylor presents Livingston Parish Schools Assistant Superintendent Joe Murphy with a donation from Assess the Need to underwrite a significant portion of the cost of creating the STEAM Express, a mobile classroom that will bring learning in science, technology, engineering, arts and mathematics to students across the parish. School leaders plan to use the mobile classroom to bring learning to students — into impoverished communities, to fairs and festivals, to special events and to campuses across the parish.
